NationsBank Corp, is "giving away" money in a marketing program designed to boost awareness of its expanded automated teller machine services.
Ten customers in South Carolina and North Carolina won the right to participate in a so-called cash scramble, in which they are invited to withdraw as much as they can from an ATM in three minutes. A bank spokeswoman said a dexterous ATM user might be able to get as much as $3,500.
NationsBank customers can now access up to four checking accounts and two savings accounts at the ATMS, as opposed to one checking and one savings account in the past.
