Assets invested in money market mutual funds surged to $594.49 billion in the week ended Nov. 17, the Investment Company institute reported.
One week earlier, money market assets totaled $582.69 billion. Assets rose in all four categories tracked by the trade group: taxable and tax-exempt funds for both retail and institutional investors.
