Spanish Olympic Group places notes via B of A.

NEW YORK - Bank of America said it has privately placed $125 million of senior notes for Barcelona Holding Olympic with a group of investors.

Barcelona Holding is a joint venture between Spain and the City of Barcelona. It was responsible for developing infrastructure and sports facilities for the 1992 Summer Olympics.

Bank of America said the financing will be used to make final payments to contractors that worked on the facilities.

Bank of America said the notes were sold to eight U.S. institutional investors.
