PHILADELPHIA - CoreStates Financial Corp. said it has filed an application to lists its common shares on the New York Stock Exchange.
A spokesman said the company expects its shares to begin trading on the Big Board before yearend.
The company said it has 117,858,148 common shares outstanding, after a 2-for-1 stock split in October.
