1st Chicago to license Hogan card system.

DALLAS - First Chicago Corp.'s credit card bank has agreed to license software and related services of Hopn System's

Hogan's Consumer and Merchant Servicing System, or CAMS, will form the processing foundation of FCC National Bank, known as First Card. It is the fourth-largest MasterCard and Visa issuer, with operations in Delaware and Illinois.

The software project is expected to generate significant revenue for Dallas-based Hopn over the next 24 months, according to Michael H. Anderson, chairman and chief executive officer.

Hogan has licensed CAMS to 20 other institutions in 11 countries. It is currently being installed at a Visa processing center in Montreal and at Credimatico in Caracas, Venezuela.
