Bank of S.F. sells branch to American River.

SAN FRANCISCO - Bank of San Francisco Company Holding Co. said it completed the sale of its Sacramento branch to American River Bank of Sacramento County.

Bank of San Francisco said American River Bank purchased loans from the company valued at $28.6 million and assumed liability for $33.5 million in deposits.

The sale of the branch is part of the bank's restructuring and recapitalization plan, the company said. American River Bank has retained all 18 employees of the branch, the company said.
