Emerson L. Brumback has been appointed president and chief operating officer of Bank One Cincinnati.
Gerald R. Francis continues as chairman and chief executive of the Cincinnati affiliate of Banc One Corp., Columbus, Ohio.
Mr. Brumback will be responsible for the functional areas of Bank One Cincinnati, including commercial lending, retail lending, operations, facilities, and marketing, and will assume the position in Cincinnati no later than Jan. 1.
Mr. Brumback had been executive vice president Bank One Dayton since October 1992.
He joined the Dayton bank in 1989 as vice president of retail banking.
