Central Pacific Bank of Hawaii regroups.

HONOLULU - Central Pacific Bank said it has reorganized into three corporate groups - administration, commercial banking, and retail banking - each headed by an executive vice president.

Yoshiharu Satoh, chairman and chief executive officer of the fast-growing $1.3 billion-asset bank, said the structure will improve efficiency and communication.

Neal Kanda heads the administration group, which includes the cashier, controller, human resources, and operations functions.

Austin Imamura is in charge of the commercial banking group, which comprises corporate banking and real estate divisions.

Naoaki Shibuya heads retail banking and its marketing, branch administration, consumer banking, and trust divisions. Mr. Shibuya recently joined Central Pacific after 28 years with Sumitomo Bank in Japan and the United States.
