Fannie Mae appointed three men and a woman to vice presidencies. They are: Jeffery R. Hayward, VP for risk management; Leanne Spencer, VP for financial reporting; Craig Wildrick, VP for operations; and Barry Zigas, VP for housing impact policy.

Hayward will be responsible for reviewing credit transactions and advising the Credit Policy Committee on their treatment, according to the Federal National Mortgage Association's June 15 announcement. He also will coordinate communications among the company's five regional offices and several of its central offices. He currently directs loan acquisition in the Northeastern Regional Office.

Spencer will handle Fannie Mae's accounting operations concerning its benefit plans, hedging and trading of MBS trading operations, loan loss allowance, biweekly and special payrolls. Previously, she was director of financial information.

Wildrick will run a new unit that will redesign the processing system for packing MBS. He was senior vice president and chief operations officer with Continental Information Systems Corp. in Syracuse, N.Y.

Zigas will be responsible for making policy recommendations on issues affecting affordable housing and assisting in the implementation of those policies. He comes to Fannie Mae from the National Low Income Housing Coalition, where he has served as president since 1984.
