NEW YORK -- Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce said it will be administrative and managing agent in a $150 million credit for Homestake Mining Co.
The financing for the gold mining company was jointly underwritten with Bank of Nova Scotia and will be syndicated to U.S. and non-U.S. banks.
The Cleveland-based bank is projecting steady growth in net interest income even as credit losses remain manageable. But Chairman and CEO Chris Gorman also said that he thinks a recession is likely.
