M&I unit signs contract with Wisconsin Bank.

M&I Data Services Inc. landed a six-year contract to handle the data processing for Johnson International Inc., a $977 million, six-bank holding company in Racine, Wis. Currently a Mellon service bureau customer, Johnson will convert to M&I's system in November.

M&I will provide Johnson with all core data processing services. Additionally, M&I will support Johnson's Bunker Ramo Aladdin branch automation and teller equipment.

M&I will process four of Johnson's six affiliate banks, including Heritage Bank & Trust, Racine; Heritage Bank Rock County, Janesville; Biltmore Investors Bank, Milwaukee; and Biltmore Investors Bank, Lake Forest, Ill.

M&I Data Services is a wholly owned affiliate of the Marshall & Ilsley Corp., a $7.8 billion holding company. Both have headquarters in Milwaukee.
