Cirrus signs 30 foreign institutions.

The Cirrus System Inc. automated teller machine network. owned and operated by MasterCard International, has added 30 international financial institutions as new members.

Eight of the institutions are principal members - banks that are authorized by Cirrus to resell the network's ATM services to other institutions.

The new principal members are: Europay Belgium. Asociacion Red Multicolor and Corporacion Colombiana de Ahorro y Vivienda from Colombia, Unicredit Ecuador. Bank Bali Jakarta in Indonesia. Jordan National Bank of Amman. Redtef SA in Panama, and Gota Bank in Sweden.

The new members will add more than 700 ATMs to Cirrus' existing international network of about 129,000 terminals.
