ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. -- Centura Banks Inc. said it agreed to acquire Robeson Savings Bank Inc.
Shareholders of Robeson, based in Lumberton, N.C., will receive 0.844 share of Centura common stock for each common share. The merger is expected to be completed by yearend.
As of June 30, Robeson had assets of about $ 1 00 million and deposits of $90 million.
