Fiserv signs up handful of bankers.

Fiserv Inc., Milwaukee, clinched a number of deals in June.

Union Federal Savings Bank of Brea, Calif., expanded it current service relationship to include complete item processing services. The bank will be using the Fiserv centers in Los Angeles and Seattle. With assets of $1.6 billion, Union Federal currently uses the Fresno center for its data processing.

Foothill Community Bank of Brownsville, Calif., and Mount Diablo National Bank of Danville, Calif., have both selected the company's data processing center in Los Angeles. The banks' own software systems will be operated at the Fiserv data center. Foothill Community Bank has $15 million in assets and Mount Diablo National Bank is a start-up.

The Bluebonnet Savings Bank, Dallas, renewed its contract for item processing services with the San Antonio center and has expanded its relationship through the addition of eight recently acquired locations. Fiserv will also provide Bluebonnet Savings with on-line file processing services. The file processing conversion will be consolidated from two different processors for the $3.1 billion-asset institution.

With $8 million in assets, Regent Thrift and Loan in San Francisco will outsource financial data processing to Fiserv.

Buffalo Federal Savings and Loan of Buffalo, Wyo., with $33 million in assets, will outsource its data processing to a Fiserv center in Seattle.

Snow Bank, Dillon, Colo., expanded its relationship with Fiserv to use its full-service check and remittance processing services in the Denver center. Snow Bank, with assets of $24 million, already has a relationship with Fiserv's data center in Arlington Heights, Ill.

Tri-Counties Bank, Chico, Calif, will install the Fiserv comprehensive banking system on its IBM AS/400. Tri-Counties Bank has assets of $500 million.
