Cecorp rolls out branch automation system.

Cecorp has introduced three new products: a branch automation system, a teller workstation, and a signature verification system.

The branch automation system, called Cevoice, is an on-line telephone inquiry and transaction processing system that uses voice-response technology. Designed specifically for financial institutions, the program is a complete turnkey system that provides 24-hour automated customer service.

With a touch-tone telephone, callers can access information and process transactions. In addition to numerous inquiries such as account balance, check clearance, funds transfer, loan payments, and stop payments, callers may be transferred to bank personnel, leave recorded messages, access information in multiple languages, and receive fax transmissions of their statements.

Cevoice also features Fail-Soft, a fault-tolerant system that automatically restarts the system in the event of a power or machine failure. Cevoice includes a comprehensive reporting system that consists of audit-trail call logs, system activity, and statistical analysis reports.

Cecorp's Teller PCx, designed specifically for the teller window, is a diskless PC workstation. It includes multiple terminals in a single workstation. Because teller, administration, signature verification, and calculator terminals are integrated, tellers do not have to leave customers while performing these routine tasks.

The workstation also features look-ahead processing. As teller transactions are performed, the workstations determine when signature verification or additional account information will be required. These tasks are then initiated immediately so the information is there when needed.

Sig ID is Cecorp's signature verification system, which is available as a stand-alone system or can be integrated into Cecorp's teller workstation. The system captures, maintains, and displays signature facsimiles for account verification. By entering an account number or other unique identifier, the teller can verify signatures in seconds.

Cecorp is based in Irvine, Calif.
