Meyer, Datatron linking services.

The Meyer Interest Rate Survey and U.S. Datatron Inc. have agreed to jointly sell deposit and loan pricing information and service-fee data to financial institutions nationwide.

The linkup calls for Meyer to provide its rate-related surveys to clients of U.S. Datatron, and for U.S. Datatron to provide its fee-related surveys to Meyer's clients.

Meyer, based in Calabasas, Calif., produces daily studies of deposit, consumer loan, and mortgage loan rates offered by competing institutions. U.S. Datatron, based in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., concentrates on fee-based product studies.

Datatron recently bought the customer contracts of RateLine, a New Jersey company that had produced rate surveys for Datatron clients. RateLine customer will be served by Meyer.
