Gerry Cameron named chairman of U.S. Bancorp's Oregon Bank.

Gerry Cameron, a vice chairman of U.S. Bancorp, Portland, Ore., since January, has been chosen as board chairman of its U.S. Bank of Oregon, succeeding Roger L. Breezley, chairman and chief executive of the holding company.

Mr. Cameron remains chairman of the bank's executive committee.

Mr. Breezley said the change "will allow me to fully devote my time and energy to the management of the holding company."

John d. Eskildsen will remain president and chief executive officer of the bank. Edmund P. Jensen continues as a vice chairman and chief operating officer of the holding company, and Kevin R. Kelly as its president.

Until January, Mr. Cameron had been president and CEO of U.S. Bank of Washington, which is U.S. Bancorp's second-largest bank. He had held those posts since 1987, the year the bank was formed.

When named a vice chairman of the holding company this year, he was made responsible for traditional bank and commercial lending services in U.S. Bancorp's Northwest markets.
