Firstbank of Ill. chooses Fiserv.

Fiserv Inc., Milwaukee, signed a number of new contracts.

Firstbank of Illinois County, a $1.5 billion-asset bank holding company based in Springfield, Ill., will install Fiserv's comprehensive banking system. Running on IBM's AS/400 midrange computers, the system provides customer relationship management, deposit and loan accounting, and financial accounting and reporting.

Bancahsa, a commercial bank in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, signed an agreement to install the Spanish version of the retail banking system.
