AMBAC hires two for its GO group.

AMBAC Indemnity Corp. said yesterday that Robert Moore and Debra Wagner Saunders have joined the general obligation group as vice presidents.

Moore had worked since 1984 in the eastern region of Municipal Bond Investors Assurance Corp.'s tax-backed research area.

Saunders' hiring marks a return to AMBAC after a three-year absence. From 1994 until 1990, she was an analyst in the company's utility group. She was a budget analyst for New York City Comptroller Elizabeth Holtzman from 1990 to 1992, and a municipal letter of credit analyst for the Industrial Bank of Japan from 1992 until her move to AMBAC.
