KINGSPORT, Tenn. -- Heritage Federal Bancshares said its board has approved a 3-for-2 stock split.
The split is to be accomplished through a 50% stock dividend to be distributed Sept. 30 to stockholders of record on Sept. 8. Cash will be paid instead of fractional shares. Heritage Federal has 1.6 million common shares outstanding.
