CitiCorp issues card-backed securities.

NEW YORK - An issue of Citicorp asset-backed certificates totaling $798 million was priced in two parts.

Goldman, Sachs & Co. was lead manager of a $750 million senior class of certificates. Citicorp Securities Markets Inc. was lead manager of a $48 million subordinate class of certificates.

The sellers of the MasterCard and Visa credit card receivables were Citibank South Dakota and Citibank Nevada. The loan servicer is Citibank South Dakota.

The loans were issued in a soft bullet structure through a special-purpose vehicle, Standard Credit Card Master Trust I 1993-2. The $750 million in senior certificates was priced to yield 5.97%, 50 basis points over the Treasury's 10-year note.

The $48 million subordinate class was priced to yield 6.20%, 74 basis points more than the Treasury's 10-year note.
