BRANFORD SAVINGS Bank, Branford, Conn., said Robert J. Mariano, executive vice president and chief operating officer, has been appointed acting president, chief executive officer, and a director.
Mr. Mariano succeeds Raymond J. Ryan, who has resigned.
MID MAINE SAVINGS Bank, Auburn, has elected Conrad R. Bernier as executive vice president and treasurer.
Before joining Mid Maine Savings. Mr. Bernier was president and chief executive officer of Rockland Credit Union, Rockland, Mass. He has also held the position of senior vice president at Key Bank of Central Maine in Augusta and other senior management posts with banks in Massachusetts.
