George Hagerman, 32, has been named a vice president of First Boston Institutional Investment Services.
Mr. Hagerman will be based in First Boston's San Francisco office. In his new position, he will oversee sales of mutual fund and cash management products to institutions, including banks, in the western region.
The company, the investment-management division of First Boston Corp., manages more than $15 billion of assets.
Mr. Hagerman previously held a similar position with Concord Financial Group. He has also worked for Lehman Brothers, Fidelity Investments, and Boston Co.
