Savings Bank of Danbury names Wibling as president.

Harold C. Wibling has been named president and chief executive officer of Savings Bank of Danbury, Conn.

He is the bank's sixth president since its inception, in 1849. He succeeds Florence R. Helley, who retired after 47 years with the bank.

Mr. Wibling was president and chief executive officer of Candlewood Bank and Trust Co., New Fairfield, Conn. He also worked for Union Trust Co. in Stanford and Union Savings Bank in Danbury.

Donna M. Ramey has been appointed senior vice president of Savings Bank of Danbury.

Ms. Ramey will be responsible for the development and oversight of new loan products. In addition, she will serve as the bank's compliance and CRA officer.

She was senior vice president of Candlewood Bank and Trust and vice president of residential lending for First Federal Savings and Loan Association, Waterbury, Conn.
