Investicni Banka, the third-largest commercial bank in the Czech Republic, signed a contact with the International Banking Systems Division of Winter Partners to consolidate its management information systems and develop its international trade finance business. The system will interface with the bank's existing branch automation system, Profile, from Sanchez Computer Associates.
The bank will use the IBS-90 international banking software products, which is on Digital Bax hardware. The system fully automates ares such as trade finance, corporate banking, private and retail banking, foreign exchange, and the trading of money market and fixed-interest securities.
The unit of the V(mter Parreefs Group of Companies, which has headquarters in Zurich, was recently acquired by Management Technologies Inc., London, which develops, installs, and supports international banking software.
