RIVERHEAD, N.Y. -- Suffolk Bancorp increased its quarterly dividend by 1 cent, to 18 cents per share.
With 3.8 million shares outstanding, the total mounts to $683,823 in dividends.
Suffolk Bancorp is the $801million asset holding company for Suffolk County National Bank, the second-largest independent bank based on Long Island, with 21 branches in 16 municipalities. It also owns Island Computer Corporation of New York, a bank data-service company in Bohemia, N.Y.
