Thomas C. Williams has been appointed executive vice president of Akron-based First Bancorporation of Ohio, as well as president and chief executive of its Life Savings Bank in Clearwater, Fla. He began his career with the parent company's First National Bank of Ohio as vice president and regional development officer. Most recently, he was senior vice president, managing off- cer--Cleveland region, running the entire retail and corporate banking system there.
Those responsibilities will now be assumed by John R. Macso, who has been appointed executive vice president of First National and president of the Cleveland region.
Mr. Macso continues as executive vice president of the holding company and chairman of its credit policy comnittee. "
