Iowa's Midland Savings sells 2 offices.

DES MOINES -- Midland Savings Bank has reached agreements to sell its bank offices in Boone and Monticello, Iowa. Citizens National Bank of Boone-Stratford, a subsidiary of Hawkeye Bancorp, will buy the boone office and its $16.5 million in deposits and will retain Midland's Boone employees.

Liberty Savings Bank of Johnston will acquire the Monticello office and its deposits of $13.5 million.

By terms of each sale, the acquiring institution has agreed to buy the deposits of the office, while Midland, which has $995 million of assets, will retain and service all loan accounts established at the two offices.
