Amex trading AmSouth, Bancorp Hawaii, Roosevelt options.

NEW YORK -- The American Stock Exchange has begun trading options on the listed stocks of AmSouth Bancorp., Bancorp Hawaii Inc., and Roosevelt Financial Group Inc.

AmSouth, based in Birmingham, Ala., opened with strike prices of 25, 30, and 35, and position limits of 4,500 contracts. Expiration months are October, November, and December of 1994, and March of 1995.

Headquartered in Honolulu, Bancorp Hawaii is the holding company for Bank of Hawaii. the largest commercial bank in the state, and FirstFed America Inc. The options opened with strike prices of 25, 30, and 35, and position limits of 4,500 contracts. Expiration months are October and November of 1994 and February and May of 1995.

Roosevelt Financial Group, based in Chesterfield, Mo., is the holding company for Roosevelt Bank. Strike prices opened at 15, 17 1/2, and 20, with position limits of 7,500 contracts. Initial expiration months are October, November and December of 1994, and March of 1995.
