Peerless Systems, Richardson, Tex., signed a five-year contract with the Middleburg (Va.) Bank. Under the agreement, Peerless will convert the bank' s current data processing operation to the Peerless21 software system for the IBM AS/400. The $120 million-asset bank previously used a service bureau.
