UNITED SAVINGS Bank, Greenfield, Mass., said Kenneth R. Cole has been elected to succeed Francis L. Lemay as president of the bank, effective Dec. 31.
Mr. Lemay, who is retiring at that time, will remain chairman of the board of directors at United as well as a board member of Vermont National Bank and Vermont Financial Services Corp., parent company of the two banks.
Mr. Cole has been with United since 1986, when he joined as vice president, treasurer and chief financial officer.
