Don Ayres, senior executive vice president of Sunburst Bank, Grenada, Miss., has assumed responsibilities as chief operating officer.
He joined the bank in Baton Rouge, La., in 1991 as executive vice president. In April 1992, Mr. Ayres transferred to the bank's corporate headquarters in Grenada, where he has directed the bank's efforts in statewide banking, mergers, acquisitions, marketing, training, sales, service quality, and consumer credit.
