Morgan creates derivatives from Calif. bonds.

NEW YORK -- J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. said it has created $18.9 million of secondary market derivatives from bonds issued by the Santa Margarita/Dana Point Authority, Calif.

The derivatives include $17.9 million of puttable variable rate receipts backed by Morgan Guaranty Trust Co. and $1 million of inverse floating rate receipts.
