BANKAMERICA Business Credit, San Diego, said Chris A. Bowers has joined the nationwide commercial finance company in the newly created post of executive vice president and national sales manager. He will be based in Chicago.
Mr. Bowers had been co-head of the business credit group at Continental Bank Corp., Chicago, which provided asset-based loans to middle-market companies nationwide.
BankAmerica Corp. completed the acquisition of Continental Bank Corp on Sept. 1.
The top five banks and thrifts have combined total assets of nearly $13 trillion.
