Chase is still pursuing claim against Keystone.

A Chase Manhattan Corp. spokeswoman said that the New york banking company was continuing to pursue one claim in a long-standing suit against Keystone Group Inc.

Even though other claims in the suit have been dismissed by the judge in the case, the spokeswoman said that Chase was "vigorously" pursuing a claim that the Boston-based mutual fund company did not deal in good faith when it entered into a financing agreement with Chase for mutual fund sales loads.

The suit stems from Chase's disappointment that mutual fund fees it has received in return for a loan it provided to Keystone have come in more slowly than expected.

Recently, Keystone announced that the judge in the civil suit had ruled against Chase's claim that fees fell below what had been outlined in the contract.

But the Chase spokeswoman said that the good-faith claim was not dismissed, and was still pending before the U.S. district court in Manhattan.
