WESTCHESTER, Ill. -- Cirrus System Inc., the global automated teller machine network owned by MasterCard, approved membership requests from over 340 financial institutions in the third quarter of 1994, bringing the total to over 11,600.
The members -- 11 principal members and the rest corresponding -- are spread around the globe.
The new principal members are: BestBank of Colorado (U.S.); Caribbean Commercial Bank and Mutual Bank of the Caribbean, both in Barbados; Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank in the United Arab Emirates; Commercial Bank of Qatar; Compagnie Bancaire de l'Afrique Occidentale in Senegal; NBS Bank Ltd. in South Africa; Riyad Bank in Saudi Arabia; Bank Duta in Indonesia; Citizens National Bank in South Korea; and Bank Sinopac in Taiwan.
