Outsourcer will market software of branch automation developer.

Systeme Corp., the Casselberry, Fla.-based software developer, has signed an agency agreement with Kennsco, a company that specializes in systems integration and conversions.

Under the terms of the agreement, Plymouth, Minn.-based Kennsco will represent Systeme branch automation products.

Two former Systeme sales people have joined Kennsco to assist in the initiative.

"With Kennsco representing our products, we dramatically reduce our operating costs on the sales and marketing side," said Brady L. RackIey, chief executive officer of Systeme. "The relationship enables us to focus on what we do best: software development and support."

Services and Maintenance

David A. Sawicki, a vice president at Kennsco, said that in addition to offering the Systeme products to banks and other financial services organizations, Kennsco will also provide conversion services and maintenance on Systeme installations.

Kennsco operates 20 service facilities in 10 states, and plans to add up to eight more centers during the next year.

Kennsco has similar agency agreements with Microbilt and Product4, two other financial services technology firms, as well as reseller relationships with a range of companies including American Telephone & Telegraph, International Business Machines Corp. and Compaq Corp. Kennsco is also a preferred vendor for Fiserv Inc.

Mr. Sawicki said the Systeme agreement represented part of a long-term strategy to expand Kennsco's scope in the marketplace.
