GM to push its card in Glenfed branches.

General Motors Corp., Glendale Federal Bank, and Household Credit Services said they are initiating a program to expand distribution of the GM MasterCard by making it available through Glendale Federal Bank's branch locations in California and Florida.

The GM card is issued by Household Bank and serviced by Household Credit Services.

Cardholders accrue 5% of each GM card transaction, up to $500 per account per year, or $3,500 over a seven-year period. toward the purchase or lease of a new vehicle from Cheverolet, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Buick, Cadillac, or GMC Truce

Glendale Federal Bank is one of the nation's five largest savings institutions, operating through 216 banking offices in California, Florida, and Washington State.
