Shares in First Federal Savings Bank of Georgia jumped $5 to $30, on news that it won a jury verdict in a lawsuit against NationsBank Corp.
First Federal said the jury determined that C&S Bank, which was acquired by NationsBank, breached a 1988 merger agreement with First Federal.
NationsBank stock was up 12.5 cents to $55.75.
Bank stocks in general were mixed.
