ADT Security Systems, a Parsippany, N.J.-based firm that provides electronic security protection equipment and services, signed an agreement with Pittsburgh-based Mellon Bank Corp.
ADT will provide approximately 430 Mellon Bank locations with a computer-based system that features integrated card access, video imaging, and alarm panels.
Other major banking customers selecting ADT in recent months include the Federal Reserve Bank of New York; NationsBank Corp., Charlotte, N.C.; Barnett Bank of Florida; SouthTrust Corp., Birmingham, Ala.; Firstar Corp., Milwaukee; and Union Bank, San Francisco.
