MIAMI -- Intercontinental Bank's board of directors approved 12.5% increase in its quarterly dividend.
The payout, 9 cents a share, will be payable Sept. 30.
Intercontinental has $1 billion of assets and $877 million in deposits. It operates 22 branches in Dade and Broward counties.
The top five banks and thrifts have combined total assets of nearly $13 trillion.
