National Bank of Canada said that, as part of its strategic alliance with International Business Machines Corp. and ISM Information Systems Management Corp., it has signed an outsourcing agreement providing for the takeover of its information processing operations by the two companies.
ISM/IBM will also acquire the building that houses National Bank's main information center as well as data processing equipment.
The two companies also will integrate the bank personnel currently working in the areas being outsourced.
