Norwest unit in deal to market software.

Norwest Banks Minnesota signed an agreement with Micro Resources Inc. to market client-server software that combines marketing management with profitability and portfolio planning.

Designed to improve the marketing of banking products to commercial and private banking customers, the Crisp/Gemini software supplies managers with integrated analyses of company contacts, sales pipelines, and completed sales.

Norwest began using the Crisp system in 1987 to support relationship managers. The system eventually was customized into the new Gemini software.
