SOUTHERN NATIONAL Corp., Greenville, S.C., named to its board four former directors of the recently acquired First Savings Bank of Greenville.
The appointments include First Savings' former chairman, H. Ray Davis, and its president and chief operating officer, Luther C. Boliek, who now is vice chairman of Southern National and a director of Southern National Bank of South Carolina.
Joining them were Paul S. Goldsmith, president of the William Goldsmith Co. insurance firm in Greenville, and Robert H. Yeargin, chairman and chief executive officer of Yeargin Properties Inc., Greenville, a real estate development and financial services company.
Mr. Boliek, Mr. Davis, and Mr. Goldsmith will serve three-year terms; Mr. Yeargin, a two-year term.
