Dutch bank provides cellular phone credit.

LUXEMBOURG -- Millicom International Cellular S.A., a leading international provider of cellular communications, said it has signed a $75 million credit facility arranged by ING Bank of the Netherlands.

The facility will be used to refinance approximately $30 million of short-term debt, make investments in MIC operations, and for working capital.

MIC has interests in cellular telephone licenses covering a combined population of 315 million in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Europe.
