Old National of Ind. closes 1st Citizens deal.

CENTRAL CITY, Ky. -- Old National Bancorp of Evansville, Ind., announced it has completed its merger with First Citizens United, parent company of Citizens Union Bank, Central City, Ky. The stock deal is valued at approximately $3.8 million.

The single office of Citizens Union Bank will merge with Old National's affiliate, The First State Bank of Greenville, Ky. With assets of nearly $27 million, Citizens Union will bring First State Bank's total assets to $166 million.

Old National's pending mergers include: Bank of Western Indiana of Covington, Ind.; Orange County Bank of Paoli, Ind.; Indiana State Bank of Terre Haute, Ind.; and First National Bank of Oblong, Ill. The mergers Will push Old National well past the $4 billion mark.
