A "People in the News" item on Wednesday incorrectly reported the occupation of Eugenia T. Burzynski before joining Government Finance Group Inc. Burzynski has been working to establish a new municipal bond reinsurance company since leaving Connie Lee Insurance Co. in 1991.
Wednesday's "Market in Review" misspelled the name of Marvin Markus, managing director at Kidder Peabody & Co.
Due to an editing error, the statement that concluded Wednesday's article on derivatives legislation was wrongly attributed. Rep. Stephen Neal, D-N.C., said he might ask the authors of the legislation to tinker with some of the bill's provisions.
