Commercial paper outstanding grew in May.

NEW YORK -- Commercial paper outstanding in the United States increased in May by a seasonally adjusted $5.874 billion, or 1.1%, to $559.229 billion, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York said.

Commercial paper had declined in both March and April by a total of $6.997 billion from $560.352 billion at the end of February.
