LOUISVILLE, Ky.-- MidAmerica Bancorp reported flat earnings for the first quarter of $2.6 million, or 31 cents a share.
The $1.1 billion-asset company earned $2.57 million - or 30 cents a share - in the year-earlier period. The board of directors declared a cash dividend of 15 cents a share, payable June 9.
The company returned 0.94% on assets compared with 1.02% a year earlier. Return on average shareholders' equity was 8.91%, compared with 9.25%. Total nonperforming assets fell to $7.3 million, from $9.8 million.
