Jennings to be CEO, chairman of Dauphin Deposit Corp.

Christopher R. Jennings, 51, president of Dauphin Deposit Corp., Harrisburg, Pa., will assume the additional posts of chairman of the board and chief executive officer of the bank holding company, effective Jan. 1.

He will take the helm from William J. King, who is retiring at the end of this year. Mr. King will remain a director. Mr. King, 65, joined Dauphin Deposit as President in 1979. He became CEO of the corporation and its flagship bank, Dauphin Deposit Bank and Trust Co., in 1986 and chairman in 1987,

Mr. Jennings joined Dauphin Deposit in 1987 as president and a director. He has been chief operating officer and has been involved in all aspects of the company's acquisition activities, including the integration of acquired companies into Dauphin.
